Types of sessions

The scientific committee will evaluate all proposals. Scientific committee has a right to accept, refuse or give suggestions to improve the content or change the format or other aspects of the presentation.

At least one presenter (in case of symposium, round-table and workshop 2 presenters) have to register to the conference until December 1st to be included in to the conference program.

 

Oral presentation

Author(s) will make an oral presentation of their research or work. Each presentation is allocated 30 minutes for presentation and discussion. Oral presentation can be supported by illustrative materials and handouts. Authors will prepare the handouts. The organisers will provide a projector.

Storytelling

Storytelling sessions invite speakers to tell stories that help to illustrate or enhance conference themes. They should reflect the authentic experience of an individual, a team, or a community, but are  told like a traditional story. Stories should be about 10 minutes long, with 5 minutes provided for Q&A afterwards.

PechaKucha 20×20

PechaKucha 20×20 is a“lightning talk” supported with 20 slides, each for 20 seconds (7 min total). The images advance automatically and speakers talk along to the images. Few questions may follow the presentation. Oral presentation can be supported by handouts. Authors will prepare the handouts. The organisers will provide a projector.

Pitching (elevator speech)

The speaker has 3 minutes to put forward their key argument about why their ideas and work matters. The goal is to convey the overall concept or topic in an exciting way. No technical aid is used. No handouts provided.

Virtual Lightning Talk

Lightning talks are "flash" video presentations. Author(s) present summaries or overviews of their work. Authors are welcome to submit traditional "lecture style" videos or videos that use visual supports. Final videos must be submitted at least one month prior to the conference start date. Participating in the conference is highly recommended  but not compulsory.

Poster presentation

A1 format posters will be exhibited in the designated place and time. During the poster session, the authors will present their poster and answer the questions.
Authors will prepare the handouts. The organisers will provide a projector.
The author(s) should bring their A1 format posters ready to be displayed. The Conference will make appropriate panels available for their exhibition.

Table presentations

Table presentation will be exhibited in the designated place and time on the table provided by organisers. The methodical materials, publications, projects outcomes, student works etc. can be presented. During the table presentation session, the authors will present their work and answer questions. Sales are not  accepted. Authors will prepare the handouts. Table presentations will be thematically grouped.
The author(s) should bring their table presentation materials ready to be displayed. The Conference will make one table available for their exhibition.

Symposium

The organizers`(min. 2 persons) present perspectives on a certain approach or issue and  invite participants to discuss.
LENGTH: 1.5 hour.
For the submission of proposals, the coordinator of the symposium should send in a general abstract with a list of issues.

Round Table

The organizers of the round table (min 2 persons) present the problems and issues. Each participant presents his/her point of view, and these are discussed with a small audience. This format is appropriate for papers addressing topics best pursued through in-depth discussion.
LENGTH: 1.5 hour.
For the submission of proposals, the organizer should send a general abstract listing all contributors, including the titles and abstracts of their presentations.

Workshop

The organizer(s )(min. 2 persons) conduct activities in which participants engage actively with  a certain approach or tool (test, computer program, etc.).
LENGTH: 45 min.
For the submission of proposals, the coordinator of the workshop should send in a general abstract with a list of these activities.
